ROCKFORD, Illinois—The Prairie Fire volleyball team claimed victory over Rockford University on Thursday night.

Knox (3-14) has won three of their last five contests after a slow start to the season. The Prairie Fire took the first two sets from the Regents 25-23 and 25-15, before falling in the third set 17-25. Knox rebounded nicely in the fourth set to win 25-21 and take the match.

Emily Mosher (Glen Ellyn, IL, Glenbard West)Â racked up 38 assists in the match while
Keiyah Triplett (Chicago, IL, Westinghouse) picked up 18 more digs.
Kyleigh Guthals (Clovis, NM, Clovis),
Rose Griffin (Maryland Heights, MO, Rosati-Kain), and
Marissa Akers (Shelbyville, IN, Shelbyville) each had double digit kills.

Knox is off this weekend before beginning the conference season on September 29.
