DE PERE, Wisconsin—After stringing a series of wins together, the Prairie Fire Women's basketball team faced a tough loss at St. Norbert College. Knox (9-6, 6-4 MWC) had trouble scoring when they played St. Norbert College (11-4, 8-2 MWC) in a top-three matchup in the Midwest Conference.
Knox was only able to score double digits in two of four quarters on the day, and nobody scored in double digits for the Fire.
Morgan Potter (Huntington Beach, CA, Huntington Beach) played a quality game, leading the team in points and rebounds with nine and seven, respectively.
Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest) filled up the stat sheet in this game with six points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Knox moved into a tie for 4th place with Illinois College in the Midwest Conference standings after this matchup.
The Fire will look to move back up in the conference rankings when they battle rival Monmouth College on January 25.
