GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire men's basketball team seemed to have a tough time hitting their stride against Lake Forest on Saturday. After multiple comeback attempts just a few days prior, Knox (1-16, 1-11 MWC) fell to Lake Forest College (10-7, 8-4 MWC) by a final tally of 79-51 in the Basketball Homecoming game.
Jonathan Damota (Miami Springs, FL, Miami Springs) carried his hot shooting from recent games into this matchup as well, scoring 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting. He also pulled down a team-high five rebounds.
George Mosialos (Larissa, Greece, Mpakogiannis) added a quality 12 points of his own to go along with his three rebounds and four assists. Knox led the way in bench points in this game, outscoring the Foresters' bench 24-14.
Knox will look to pick up a win when they travel to Illinois College on January 31 for a Midwest Conference matchup.
