Volleyball Falls to MWC Leader Cornell

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa—The Prairie Fire volleyball team fell to Cornell in a tough conference matchup on Wednesday night.

Knox (9-14, 0-6 MWC) faced the Midwest Conference leaders and were unable to get much going, falling in three sets.

Jeanette Peebles led Knox with six kills and three blocks. Emily Mosher added 13 assists and seven digs.

The Prairie Fire will have another tough road matchup on October 13 when they travel to Dubuque.
