PASADENA, California - The Prairie Fire men's basketball team faced a loss for the first time in three games after falling 75-45 to Caltech. The matchup finished up their winter break road trip; the Fire finished 1-1 in California and 2-1 on the roadtrip overall.
DJ Lewis led the Fire in scoring for his second straight game, finishing with 11 points and five assists. Jonathan Damota finished with seven points and Bryce Wilkinson had six points off the bench. Knox was able to outscore the Beavers 17-8 in points off turnovers, but could not get much going otherwise.
Knox will take some time off for the holidays before traveling to Chicago to take on Illinois Institute of Technology on December 29.
