MONMOUTH, Illinois - After an exciting and close game for the better part of 40 minutes, Knox fell in a battle against Monmouth College. Knox (0-6, 0-3 MWC) may have fell by 11 points, but they did carry a 4-point lead into halftime and were only down by one or two scores for the better part of the second half. Blake Godbold had a phenomenal night finishing with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Jonathan Damota also had a strong showing with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists. Deryk Ruple added 11 points and Marko Protic tallied nine points and seven rebounds.

Knox will have one more conference home matchup before heading on the road until the New Year. They will take on Ripon College on December 9 at Memorial Gymnasium.
