GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire women's soccer team faced another tough matchup and came up just short against #25 Loras on Thursday night.
Knox (1-4) started the scoring when Rosie Medina found Kayla Brown for a header in the 36
th minute. The Duhawks responded just before halftime to knot the score up and scored again in the 75
th minute to earn the victory.
The Prairie Fire played Loras close on shots and shots on goal for the game, but the Duhawks converted on 2-of-9 shots on goal.
Knox will return to action on September 16 as they host Greenville.
