EUREKA, Illinois - The Prairie Fire women's golf team competed at Kaufman Park Golf Course in Eureka on Friday.

Knox won 3-1 in match play as Samantha Nichols, Shelby Keen, and Lynsie Pietrzak each defeated their counterparts 10 and 8.

"It was great to see all of our ladies come out and open the season with a solid win," said head coach KC Harding. "Now it's time to focus on the Augustana Invitational this Saturday and Sunday."

The Prairie Fire travel to Augustana on September 1 for a 12:00 p.m. start.
