JACKSONVILLE, Illinois - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped a match 3-0 at Illinois College on Saturday.
The Lady Blues defeated Knox 25-19, 25-17, 25-22. 
The Prairie Fire trailed just 19-16 late in the first set, but Illinois College closed out the set on a 6-3 run.
The teams were tied 9-9 in the second set, but the Lady Blues used a 15-4 run to take a commanding lead.
Knox led 16-14 in the third set and the teams were tied at 22-22 late, but Illinois College took the final three points for the victory.
Autumn Schneider racked up nine kills to lead the Prairie Fire. Katie Anderson added 18 assists. Marissa Akers tallied six kills and Catessa Duran finished with five kills. Duran and Peyton Balfour also had three blocks apiece.
"We had some good things today in all three sets, but just couldn't quite finish," said head coach Pat Barry. "We will look to regroup for our final games next weekend."
Knox travels to Lake Forest on April 3 to close out their season.
