LAKE FOREST, Illinois - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped a match 3-0 at Lake Forest on Saturday afternoon.

The Foresters took the sets 26-24, 25-22, 25-21 in a match much closer than the 3-0 victory implies.

Catessa Duran paced Knox with nine kills and four blocks, while Katie Anderson racked up 22 assists and three aces. Peyton Balfour added five kills and four blocks. Kaitlyn Kashishian tallied 12 digs.

"We played better today against a better team," said head coach Pat Barry. "We looked like we wanted to put up a fight to end the season, so that was nice to see."

Knox returns to action as they travel to Illinois College on October 29.
