GALESBURG, Illinois - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped their season finale to Hannibal-LaGrange 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Knox celebrated senior night for Kaitlyn Kashishian, Thao Luong, Catessa Duran, Katie Anderson, and Autumn Rapp.

The Prairie Fire won the first set 25-17, but then dropped the next three 25-19, 25-16, 25-22.

Duran paced Knox with 15 kills and added two blocks. Anderson racked up 34 assists, 16 digs, two aces, and two blocks. Peyton Balfour tallied four blocks. Kashishian tacked on 15 digs and four assists.

Anderson finished her career with 1,617 assists, good for fifth all-time at Knox. Duran finished her career with 828 kills, the sixth most in Prairie Fire history.

"We came out strong for our seniors tonight," said head coach Pat Barry. "In the end we came up short, but we did get them at least one more set and gave them a chance to get a lot of time on the court to finish out their careers. We also saw some good things from the returners."
