GRINNELL, Iowa — The Midwest Conference announced its Women's Basketball Performer of the Week award winner today with the honor being bestowed upon Sarina Dacio. This is the third time Dacio has earned this award in her career, having received it twice during last season.

A fifth-year guard from San Diego, California, Dacio had a career night in a 101-70 victory over Eureka on Nov. 19, scoring a personal-best 32 points while also hauling in seven rebounds to match her career high. She was an efficient shooter as well, hitting 12-of-19 field goals and 5-of-9 from the perimeter. This was her second instance of topping 30 points in a game and her 47th double-digit output.

The offensive explosion leaves Dacio needing just 39 more points to become the third Prairie Fire women's basketball player to reach 1,000 in a career.
