Holland Leads Charge Against Monmouth

MONMOUTH, IL - The Prairie Fire took on Monmouth in a Midwest Conference match, and despite losing the contest Bri Holland had an impressive day.

Knox was unable to get much going on the attacking side as they dropped the match in straight sets.

Holland was all over the place for the Prairie Fire as she tied for the team lead in digs and led the team in assists.

Elle Haddon led the squad in kills and Maria Jabor John finished the contest just one behind Haddon. Haddon also finished the match with the team lead in hitting percentage, and Miley Frakes was trailing shortly behind her in the category.

Zoe Thunhurst and Lynn Hoang tied with Holland for the team high in digs.

The Prairie Fire will return to the court on Tuesday at Rockford when they take on the Regents at 7:00 p.m.
