GALESBURG, IL - Memorial Gymnasium plays host to what is set to be an incredible match between the Prairie Fire and Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m.

Tonight's contest between Knox and Beloit will be the second of four fall "Fire Games" that Knox Athletics is putting on. A "Fire Game" is a game that every team on campus is encouraged to attend. Women's Soccer hosted the first one, and it resulted in a 12-0 victory over Alverno. The atmosphere at Jorge Prats Field that night was truly remarkable.

With a packed and enthusiastic crowd this match is set to be another incredible evening in Memorial Gymnasium.

On top of the "Fire Game" tonight, Knox Volleyball will be honoring their three seniors, Elle Haddon, Lydia Karli, and Mayra Diaz. These three have dedicated plenty of time and effort into Prairie Fire Athletics and Volleyball.

The Buccaneers are heading into town with a 4-9 and are 0-3 in the Midwest Conference, and both teams will be looking to grab their first MWC victory. The Prairie Fire hold the edge over Beloit in the history of the matchup with a 10-4 record over the Buccaneers.

Last year, Knox took down Beloit in four sets. Haddon led the team with 12 kills and Zoe Thunhurst trailed right behind her with 10 of her own. Bri Holland and Madelyn Dittrich also had incredible nights in last year's contest as they tallied 19 and 17 assists, respectively.

The Prairie Fire will be looking to claim their fourth straight victory over the Buccaneers. The two conference foes hold a common opponent this season in Rockford, and Knox has fallen twice to the Regents while Beloit has come away victorious in both matches.
