KANSASVILLE, WIS. - Robert Pierson led the Prairie Fire squad as he went one over in the two day event, finishing 14th overall at the Midwest Region Classic, and the men's team placed 32nd and the women got 34th.

At Brighton Dale Links, Pierson was on fire on day one as he ripped off a trio of birdies as he went even on the day. Nathaniel Zug and Bryce Gillock trailed right behind him as they were +4 and +5, respectively.

Jiya Gupta logged her best round of the two days on day one when she picked up a birdie and a trio of pars.

Pierson continued his success on day two when he rattled off three more birdies on his way to going one over. Adam Dominowski had an incredible second half of the event as he went two over on the second day, bringing himself to +13 and moving up 56 spots on the leaderboard. Dominowski's back nine on day two featured three birdies and the rest pars for a 33 on the back.

Zug finished at +13 and Gillock's weekend ended at +20.

The men's team came in 32nd place of the 42 teams at the event, and Pierson finished 14th overall.

On the women's side, the Prairie Fire came in 34th place as they outpaced Alverno by 46 strokes.

The Knox women's team will be back in action this upcoming weekend at the SLIAC Championship in Edinburgh, Ind., and the men's team will return to the course the following weekend at the Beaver Fall Classic.
