College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team ⦠led Knox with 5.5 sacks and ranked second with 52 tackles and 6.0 tackles for a loss ⦠had at least two stops in every game ⦠set the tone at Beloit by dropping a rusher for a 2-yard loss then immediately sacked the quarterback for a 7-yard loss while forcing the ball loose as the Prairie Fire went on to win, 17-13 ⦠recorded six tackles, including helping out on a 7-yard sack at Ripon ⦠made a season-high nine stops, including a 4-yard sack, in a hard-fought game with Grinnell on Knosher Field ⦠registered two sacks at Lawrence to contribute to the 35-34 road win ⦠final collegiate game included a 9-yard sack on a 3rd-and-1 play, forcing a punt, among his seven tackles against rival Monmouth.
2023
An
All-Midwest Conference Second Team selection at linebacker ⦠also received Academic All-MWC honors for a second time in his career ⦠second in the league with 10.0 sacks, third with 20.5 tackles for a loss ⦠had at least one sack in seven games ⦠terrorized Beloit to the tune of 10 tackles, 4.5 for a loss with 2.5 sacks ⦠collected a season-high 12 tackles with four going for a loss, including one sack, in a low-scoring loss to Ripon ⦠had nine stops in the 14-7 win over Grinnell ⦠registered two sacks to help Knox defeat Lawrence, 48-28.
2022
Third on the team in tackles with 45, but led the squad with 8.0 sacks (third in the MWC) and 10.5 tackles for a combined loss of 56 yards ⦠sacked the Lake Forest and Beloit quarterbacks once apiece ⦠got to the QBs of Illinois College, Lawrence and Cornell College twice each ⦠also had a season-high 11 stops versus Cornell.
2021
Named to Academic All-Midwest Conference Team ⦠played in all nine games in his first season on the field ā¦Ā totaled 26 tackles, but also ranked second on the team with 3.0 sacks and 8.0 tackles for a loss ⦠collected five tackles including a sack in his first collegiate game ⦠registered a sack and helped on another against the University of Chicago ⦠recovered a fumble in a 49-28 win over Grinnell ⦠made a season-high six stops versus Illinois College.
2020
Did not play in either of the spring games following the COVID pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL
Starred on the gridiron at Nazareth Academy.
PERSONAL
Chose Knox because I wanted to be at a smaller school to be able to make good connections and experiences with my professors. Knox also offered me the opportunity to play football at the college level.
