GRINNELL, Iowa – Today the Midwest Conference (MWC) announced the All-Conference Teams and major award winners for the 2023 football season, as selected by the league's ten head coaches.
Knox College senior Kaile Williams made the first team as a running back. Williams led the league in rushing with 1,082 rushing yards. He added 10 rushing touchdowns as well as 717 yards passing and two touchdowns.
Offensive lineman Creed Justice, defensive lineman Jon Sarich, and punter Jonathan Walker were named to the second team. Justice blocked for Williams and a running crew that finished first in the league in rushing offense per game (220.5 ypg). Sarich finished second in sacks (10) and third in tackles for a loss (20.5) in the conference. Walker led the league in average yards per punt (39.6) and had eight punts of 50 yards or more.
