Knox College Prairie Fire

Baker joined the Prairie Fire volleyball staff in 2019. She is a Galesburg High School graduate and played for the Carl Sandburg College Chargers from 2010-11 and was an All-Arrowhead Conference and All-Region IV selection both seasons while also leading the Chargers in kills each year. As a sophomore, she also led the team in assists and aces while ranking 21st in the nation in hitting percentage, helping her earn second-team NJCAA Division II All-America honors.

Baker continued her career at the University of Illinois-Springfield from 2012-13. She appeared in 50 matches over two seasons with the Prairie Stars, including all 29 matches as a senior. She posted a team-leading 241 kills in her final season, and her 227 digs as a senior were good for third on the team. Baker graduated from UIS with a bachelor’s in communications and a master’s in public administration.

After her playing career, Baker returned to Carl Sandburg as an assistant where she helped find success with the Chargers.
