Box Score
Cornell College scored two late goals and added the winner in overtime Sunday to come from behind and

beat Knox College 3-2.
The Prairie Fire took a 1-0 lead into halftime despite being outshot 7-3 over the first 45 minutes. Junior Emma Swanson (West Des Moines, Iowa) continued her torrid scoring stretch with her 12th goal of the season at the 42:43 mark.
Swanson, who's scored in five straight matches and has nine goals during that stretch, struck again with an unassisted goal at 65:18 for a 2-0 Knox lead. The Fire, which lost 3-1 to Grinnell College on Saturday in a Midwest Conference match in Galesburg that ended a string of three straight victories, appeared poised to begin a new winning streak against Cornell.
The Rams, winless going into the match with Knox, had other plans. Cornell (1-7) scored twice in less than two-and-a-half minutes to force a 2-2 tie, then won it in overtime.
Rachel Wynn's goal at the 81:25 mark -- her first of the season -- cut Knox College's lead in half. Kelli Ford tied the match on a penalty kick at 83:49 to force the extra 10:00 period.
The Rams, who outshot Knox 15-5 overall -- including 11-2 on goal -- sealed the come-from-behind victory when Adrianna Montellano's kick got past Prairie Fire goalie, junior Alex Rauland (Frankfurt, Germany), at the 95:45 mark. The goal by Montellano was her first of the season. Rauland finished with eight saves, seven of them in the first half.
