WAUKESHA, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire dropped a 3-1 contest to Carroll on Saturday.
Knox (9-16, 4-5 MWC) has struggled lately, looks to finish the season strong.
Knox fell easily in the first set, but battled back for a second set win. The third and fourth sets were both close, but the Pioneers were able to pull away late in the contest.
Casey Stachelski (Joliet, IL, Plainfield Central) led the Prairie Fire with 20 assists, while
Jakeiyah Triplett (Chicago, IL, Westinghouse) added 11 digs.
Ally Mayher (Mokena, IL, Marist) finished with eight kills with
Rachael Powell (Indianapolis, IN, Lawrence Central)Â and
Ella Petersen (Wilmette, IL, Lake Forest Academy) both adding six apiece.
Knox will look to get back on track with their final home match of the season on Friday, October 23, at 7:00 p.m. against Robert Morris University-Springfield.
