GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire defeated Robert Morris in three sets on Senior Night and, in the process, sealed the team's best record in two decades.
 
Knox (10-16) won nine games in 2002 and 14 in 1995, but the 2015 team has showed heart all season despite some serious adversity. The team's four conference victories are also the most since 1995.
 
Casey Stachelski (Joliet, IL, Plainfield Central), in her final home game in a Prairie Fire uniform, recorded 28 assists and two aces. Fellow senior Ella Petersen (Wilmette, IL, Lake Forest Academy) added three aces and six kills. Kyleigh Guthals (Clovis, NM, Clovis) led Knox with nine kills and Jakeiyah Triplett (Chicago, IL, Westinghouse) accumulated 14 digs.
 
The Prairie Fire will finish their season on the road when they travel to Monmouth on October 27.
