GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire split their first day of conference matches defeating Ripon and falling to St. Norbert.

Knox (1-14, 1-1 MWC) beat Ripon 7-2 in the first match of the day before losing to St. Norbert 0-9 in the final match of the day.

The Prairie Fire got singles wins from Minh Le (Hanoi, Vietnam, Yen Hoa School), Rohail Khan (Islamabad, Pakistan, Roots School System), Errol Kaylor (Lombard, IL, Glenbard East), and Charlie Harned (Webster Groves, MO, Clayton). Ashwin Kushwaha (Rochester, MN, Mayo) and Khan teamed up to win number one doubles, Le and Kaylor won number two doubles, and Brendon Alaniz (Barnhart, MO, Windsor) and Harned defeated their number three doubles counterparts.

Knox will face Lawrence at home on April 10 at 8:00 a.m.
