JACKSONVILLE, Illinois—The Prairie Fire volleyball team defeated MacMurray on Wednesday afternoon, but fell to Robert Morris-Springfield in the nightcap.

Knox (2-14) lost the first set against the Highlanders 18-25, but bounced back to win 25-20, 25-23, and 25-22 to seal the victory.
Keiyah Triplett (Chicago, IL, Westinghouse) added on to her impressive season total with 44 more digs,
Rose Griffin (Maryland Heights, MO, Rosati-Kain) racked up 16 kills, and
Emily Mosher (Glen Ellyn, IL, Glenbard West) picked up 42 assists.
Kyleigh Guthals (Clovis, NM, Clovis) and
Marissa Akers (Shelbyville, IN, Shelbyville) each chipped in 11 kills.

The Prairie Fire played the Eagles the exact opposite as their previous match, winning the first set 25-23 before falling 24-26, 22-25, and 18-25 in the final three sets. Triplett tacked on 33 more assists and Mosher accumulated 32 assists. Guthals led Knox with 14 kills while Griffin added 11 and Akers had 10.
