MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa—The Prairie Fire volleyball team defeated Iowa Wesleyan 3-0 on Thursday night.
Knox (8-7) won their sixth straight match behind a dominating performance from Rose Griffin, who passed the 1,000 kill milestone.
Griffin, who just moved into third all-time in kills on Tuesday, tallied 16 kills in three sets. Jeanette Peebles added 13 kills of her own. Emily Mosher racked up 32 assists and Mady Ferris managed 18 digs.
The Prairie Fire will return to action on September 25 when they host MacMurray and Robert Morris-Sprinfield for a triangular.
