Box Score MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire men's soccer team rolled past Franklin 4-0 on Friday night.
Knox (3-1-1) waited until late in the first half to score their first goal, but added three more in quick succession early in the second half to seal the victory.
Erick Karkut started the scoring with Jun Min, Rodrigo Carvalho, and Raphael Adeyemi all adding goals. James Barrington and Hank Horwitz both picked up assists.
"Cody has a much better team than the score line showed. Legs became an issue at the end so credit them for moving the ball and running until exhaustion," said head coach Tyler Sheikh. "We came out strong, but just didn't finish our chances which allowed Franklin to settle into the game. By the second half we were able to move the ball with more verve and the results came."
Knox will try to win the Warrior Cup when they battle host Wisconsin Lutheran on September 10.
