GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire women's soccer team will travel to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to battle the St. Thomas (Minnesota) Tommies in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m.
Knox makes their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance after winning the Midwest Conference (MWC) Tournament for the third consecutive year. The Prairie Fire have made four straight MWC Tournament appearances and defeated St. Norbert to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
Knox (13-4-3) squares off against No. 18 St. Thomas (18-2) with the winner advancing to play the winner of the other first round game. The host school Wisconsin-La Crosse is also ranked 23
rd in the nation and will face Wartburg, who is ranked fourth in the North Region by the NCAA and fifth by United Soccer Coaches. All four teams are ranked in the top-8 of the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, with the Prairie Fire checking in at eight in the region. The winners of the first round games will play in the second round Sunday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets will be $8 for adults and $6 for seniors, students, and youth.
(Tickets must be purchased at the ticket window Saturday and Sunday. Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex will open 90 minutes prior to the start of the first game. Advanced ticket sales are not available).
