GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire men's tennis team dropped a match to Dominican 1-8 on Saturday afternoon.

Knox (0-7) played very close at all of the doubles pairings and many of the singles matchups, but could not quite seal the deal.

Jared Schwarz and Nesh Uppalapu picked up the 8-5 victory at #1 doubles. Jeff Xue and Brad Newland fell in a 7-9 set at #2 doubles. Uppalapu also played a very close match at #3 singles, falling 6-7, 4-6.

The Prairie Fire will return to action on April 7 when they travel to Lake Forest.
