Box Score LOS ANGELES, California—The Prairie Fire women's soccer team fell to Occidental 2-1 on Saturday night to move to 1-1 on the young season.
The Tigers got the scoring started early when they found the back of the net just 5:24 into the game. The Prairie Fire responded when Courtney Dramm scored with 17 seconds left in the first half to knot the score at 1-1 at halftime. Occidental took a 2-1 lead with 14:32 remaining in the game and held on for the victory.
The game only saw 12 total shots, but a whopping nine of them were on goal. Goalie Katy Coseglia racked up three saves in the game.
Knox will look to get back on track when they travel to #2 University of Chicago on September 6.
