Box Score ST. LOUIS, Missouri—The Prairie Fire men's soccer team defeated Fontbonne 3-0 on Thursday night.
Knox (3-2-1) dominated in all facets in the game, but could not break through in the first half. The Prairie Fire made up for it with three scored in the final 22 minutes of the game. Joey Dorgan found the back of the net first when he deflected a cross from Jake Totty. Totty earned a goal of his own in the 80
th minute to give Knox some insurance and Nick Janulis put the Griffins away with a header for the third score. Owen Keleher and Jun Min also picked up assists in the game.
The Prairie Fire outshot Fontbonnne 26-3 in the game. Goalkeeper Justin Dunn made saves on all three shot attempts by the Griffins.
Knox returns home to battle Central on September 15.
