EDWARDSVILLE, Illinois - The Prairie Fire men's basketball team competed in an exhibition game at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on Monday night.

Knox won the opening tipoff and took an early 2-0 lead. The Prairie Fire crept out to a 7-6 lead, but the Cougars took control from there thanks to a 10-2 run. SIUE led 39-21 at the half.

The Cougars expanded their lead to 31 points about midway through the second half and then cruised to a 75-37 victory.

Duane Goodman, Jr. led Knox with 10 points thanks to a 2-for-3 showing from long range.

Cade Windham tacked on eight points and Jordan Rayner added seven.

Knox returns to action on November 17 when they travel to Eureka.
