RIVER FOREST, Illinois - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped both matches on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 to Dominican and North Park.
Knox fell to Dominican 13-25, 21-25, 19-25. The Prairie Fire then dropped the North Park match 17-25, 13-25, 17-25.
Thao Luong led Knox with eight kills on the day, while Katie Anderson added 25 assists and 15 digs. Autumn Schneider racked up seven kills and four blocks. Emme Patton also chipped in 15 digs.
"We played some very tough teams today," said head coach Pat Barry. "We played close early in a couple of sets, but just let things slip away from us. When you play good teams, that happens sometimes. We will learn from it and get better."
Knox returns to action on September 14 as they host Spoon River.
