RIPON, Wisconsin - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped a conference match 3-2 at Ripon on Friday night.

The Redhawks took the first set 25-14, but Knox bounced back with 25-23 and 25-23 victories in the second and third sets to take the advantage. However, Ripon earned another 25-14 win in the fourth set to force a deciding fifth set. The Redhawks earned a 15-9 victory in the final set to come away with the win.

Catessa Duran racked up 17 assists to lead the Prairie Fire. Katie Anderson tallied 28 assists and 14 digs. Peyton Balfour added six total blocks and Kaitlyn Kashishian picked up 14 digs.

"We played well in the second and third sets," said head coach Pat Barry. "We just didn't come to play in the other sets. We're back at it tomorrow, so we'll try to finish the season strong."

Knox continues their road trip tomorrow as they face off against conference foe Lake Forest.
