PALOS HEIGHTS, Illinois - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to Judson at the Troll Classic at Trinity Christian on Saturday morning.
Knox fell to the Eagles 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-23). The Prairie Fire trailed 24-16 late in the third set, but battled back with seven straight points to nearly force a fourth set.
Katie Anderson paced Knox with 17 assists. Caroline Wolters racked up six kills, while Catessa Duran and Payton Balfour each added five. Kaitlyn Kashishian tallied 10 digs.
"We played some good competition this weekend," said head coach Pat Barry. "We had some chances, especially in the second two sets today. We will regroup and focus on finishing the conference season strong."
Knox returns to action as they host Rockford on October 11.
