ROCKFORD, Illinois - The Prairie Fire volleyball team dropped a non-conference match 3-0 at Rockford on Tuesday night.
The Regents won 25-18. 25-19, 25-23.
Allie Dockins led Knox with 10 kills. Emme Patton tallied 22 digs and Chiho Okada racked up 24 assists and 17 digs. Abbie Layne added four blocks and Maya McEwen picked up 16 digs and eight kills.
"We were in all three sets, but just couldn't quite get the run at the end of sets," said interim head coach Lisa Olson. "The team continues to work hard and we had some great performances once again. Maya has upped her play in the last few weeks and Emme and Chiho are working hard until the very end. Allie and Abbie have been forces up front as well."
The Prairie Fire will return to action on October 13 as they travel to Beloit.
