Box Score GALESBURG, Illinois - The Prairie Fire football team dropped a conference game to Lake Forest 50-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Foresters scored twice in the last few minutes of the first quarter to take a 13-0 lead.
Lake Forest added a touchdown four minutes before halftime. Knox intercepted a pass in the end zone at the whistle to send the game into halftime with a 20-0 deficit.
The Foresters picked up a safety and two more scores in the third quarter to go up 36-0.
Lake Forest added two more touchdowns in the final period to earn the 50-0 victory.
Kaile Williams rushed for 30 yards and completed six passes for 42 yards.
Nikko Deligiannis led the Prairie Fire with seven tackles. Jon Sarich finished with five tackles, including a tackle for a loss. Darnell Centeno picked up an interception.
Knox will return to action as they host Ripon on October 7.
