Thunhurst and Hernandez-Rivera Lead Knox in Digs

GRINNELL, IA - Taking on the Pioneers on the road, Knox was defeated in three sets, but a handful of Prairie Fire had great performances.

Zoe Thunhurst and Rebecca Hernandez-Rivera put on a display of defensive prowess as they tied for the team high in digs throughout the match.

Elle Haddon, Lydia Karli, Maria Jabor John, and Thunhurst all had three kills against Grinnell. Karli made the most of her opportunities, as she had a .250 hitting percentage.

The Pioneers came out on top as they won the match in straight sets.

The Prairie Fire have been battling to pick up their first Midwest Conference victory of the season, and they will have another opportunity to do so tomorrow. Knox will head over to Monmouth for a 12:00 p.m. start against the Scots.
