Recipient of the Prairie Fire’s Jeff Sandburg Mental Toughness Award, given to the senior student-athlete who is judged to have dealt most effectively with adversity during their Knox career … team co-captain started all 17 games and led the team with four goals … scored the squad’s first goal in the season opener against Millikin … collected a hat trick in the 8-0 victory over Eureka College, which garnered her the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honors as well as Knox Female Athlete of the Week recognition.

2023
Led the team in shots (17) and shots on goal (11) … scored her second career goal against Coe College … fired off six shots against Ripon in the season finale, three of which were on goal in the tight 1-0 defeat.

2022
Saw action in 12 of the 15 games, starting 11 … put four shots on goal in a scoreless tie versus Ripon … scored first career goal in the season finale against Illinois College.

2021
Played in nine games as a rookie, starting the season opener against Millikin … the Prairie Fire were 6-2-1 in games in which she appeared … assisted on the game-winning goal versus Grinnell.

Finished her prep career at Brennan High School.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Angela Gomez has one brother (Aden Gonazles) and three sisters (Alexus, Cheyenne Sierra and Ava) … brother was a member of the Knox Class of 2028 and on the football team … minoring in sports media … ran for the track and field team during her senior year … has a desire to work in sports media and play soccer after graduation … came to Knox due to the strong sense of community and the opportunity to play soccer at a higher level while getting a good education … aside from having many dogs and cats back home, also has a chicken.
