The Prairie Fire men’s basketball team had just one game last week, but junior Carl Dortch had the best game of his career, scoring a personal-best 15 points on 7-of-10 field goals with five rebounds in 31 minutes of action in an heartbreaking overtime defeat at Millikin last Tuesday. It was just his second game registering double-digit points, but the forward and local native from Galesburg demonstrated that he is ready to play a bigger role on the floor this season.
