While Reese Miller did not record the gaudiest stats, it was his steady play behind center that led Knox to a 20-17 homecoming triumph over Grinnell on Saturday. The product of Lowell High School in San Francisco, California, completed as many passes as any Prairie Fire quarterback in the last 30 games (10-for-18) for 122 yards, plus ran for 56 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 20 carries. The most telling statistic, however, was nary a turnover that allowed Knox to possess the ball for more than 37 minutes and evenย its conference record to 2-2.
