Jacksonville, IL – The Prairie Fire men’s golf team continued its busy schedule by playing in the McNaughton Memorial on Monday.

The Fire was without the services of two of its top golfers, senior Bobby Stuebi (Western Springs, IL, Lyons Township) and sophomore James Fenner (East Peoria, IL, Metamora).

Senior Jamie Jang (San Carlos, CA, Carlmont High School) fired an 82 to lead Knox.  Fellow senior Ben Wetherbee (Sydney, Australia, Woodstock) was next with an 85.  Jang tied for 30th place individually and Wetherbee tied for 43rd.

Also playing for the Prairie Fire was senior Jacob Lewis (Bloomington, IL, Downs Tri-Valley), first-year Mackinzie Champman (Sheffield, IL, Annawan), and senior Adam Mize (Wood River, IL, East Alton-Wood River).  Lewis shot an 89, Chapman 94, and Mize 114.
