The Knox College men's golf team finished fifth this weekend, competing in the Earlham College Spring Invitational.
The tournament took place at Richmond Elks Country Club.
Throughout the two-day event, the Prairie Fire shot a total of +66, carding a +31 on the first day and a +35 on the second.
Leading Knox, Pranav Nandakumar finished third overall, posting a 73-75 for a +8 148.
Gabe Newman was 14th, shooting a +14. Newman was +5 after his first round and +9 for his second. Saransh Raina was 35th, carding a +23, Jaxson Forman was 50th with a +30, and Nathaniel Zug was 32nd with a +22.
Knox will look to build on this performance next at the SLIAC Tournament, taking place April 25–28 at Fair Oaks Golf Course in Collinsville, Illinois.
