The Royals were tough to score on and did not lose a set. Knox took two games at #1 doubles (

Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest) & Molly Loudon (Lincoln, NE, East) before Bethel pulled away for 8-2 victories in both matches.
The Prairie Fire are back in action on Friday at Oak Street Park against Hope College at 10:00 am (ET).

Miranda Corbett (Algonquin, IL, Jacobs) and
Maggie St. Clair (Mount Vernon, IA, Mount Vernon) and 8-2 in #3 doubles (
Celina Dietzel (Milwaukee, WI, Cudahy) and
Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest).
St. Clair stayed close in the first set of her #6 singles match against Stephani Post, who prevailed 6-3, 6-1.
The Prairie Fire meet Bethel University in their third match of the spring break trip on Thursday at 11:30 am (ET) on the courts at Oak Street Park.
MATCH #1 vs. Western New England University (3/17/15) Box ScoreThe Prairie Fire dropped an 8-1 decision against Western New England in their first spring break match at Oak Street Park in Kissimmee.

Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest) earned a #4 singles win for Knox against Kelly Byrnes in three sets. Woods bounced back from a (0-6) loss in the first set to take the next two 6-2, 1-0 (10-4).
First-years

Miranda Corbett (Algonquin, IL, Jacobs) contended in their #1 doubles match against Lauren Snell and Joeanna Glantz. The duo from Western New England came away with an 8-5 victory.
