Knox took two of the three doubles matches, but the Fighting Scots tipped the balance with four singles wins.

Molly Loudon (Lincoln, NE, East) scored an 8-4 victory at #1 doubles against Monmouth. Junior
Maggie St. Clair (Mount Vernon, IA, Mount Vernon) and first-year
Miranda Corbett (Algonquin, IL, Jacobs) teamed up for an 8-5 triumph in their #3 doubles contest.
St. Clair also prevailed 6-0, 6-1 at #6 singles for her second win of the day. First-year
Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest) defeated her #4 singles opponent 6-2, 6-0.
The Scots posted straight set victories against the Prairie Fire at #2 and #5 singles. It took third set tiebreakers to decide the other two matches.
Monmouth's Katherine Hinman shaded Chapman 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4) at #1 singles while Annaliese McDermott came back to clip sophomore
Celina Dietzel (Milwaukee, WI, Cudahy) 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-2) in their #3 singles battle.
Knox plays its last home match of the spring season against Millikin University on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
