The Prairie Fire women's tennis team split a conference doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.

Knox (5-12, 4-5 MWC) defeated Beloit 9-0 before falling to Lake Forest 8-1. The win over Beloit gave the Prairie Fire the most conference victories they have had in 20 years.
Emily Miller, Maddie Schacht, Savannah Sailors, Anna McDermott, and Clare Colt earned singles wins over Beloit. Sierra Henry also defeated her opponent from Lake Forest. Schacht and Sailors teamed up for a doubles win over Beloit. McDermott and Smith also earned a doubles win over Beloit.

Knox will finish up their season in the Midwest Conference Championships in Madison, Wisconsin next weekend.
