GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire women's tennis team dropped a pair of conference matches to Cornell and Grinnell on Saturday.
 
Knox (3-7, 3-3 MWC) earned a singles win from Anna McDermott in the Cornell match and played a few close doubles matches.
 
The Prairie Fire will host Monmouth on September 20 looking to get back on track.
