GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire women's tennis team dropped a pair of conference matches on Saturday.
 
Knox (0-7) started strong with victory at #1 doubles (Olivia Aractingi/Bhumika Gupta) against Lawrence, but only managed one more win at #2 singles (Gupta). Gupta also won her other singles match against Ripon. Himani Patel and Kathryn Allee also teamed up to win #2 doubles against Ripon, but the team lost 2-7.
 
The Prairie Fire will return to action on September 16 as they host St. Norbert.
