GALESBURG, Illinois - The Prairie Fire men's golf team hosted the final round of the Jim Wetherbee Memorial Invite on Sunday.
The Knox teams finished tied for 10th (642) and tied for 18th (677).
Brendan Wise paced the Prairie Fire with a two day score of 154 (79-75). Shubham Nain added a 162 and Patrick Mattar, Eddie Brees, Jake Schabes all carded a 163.
"We made up quite a bit of ground today," said head coach KC Harding. "We finished 20 strokes better than yesterday, but only jumped three spots in the field. Two scores like today and we finish in the top-5, so we definitely know we can be better than this. We will get back to work."
Knox returns to action as they travel to Iowa Wesleyan on Tuesday.
